The Golf SA High Performance Program provides a defined development pathway and program to enable talented golfers to achieve their individual goals. These programs lead to the National High Performance Program conducted by Golf Australia.

The Golf SA Program begins with participation in the Talent ID Squad leading to the High Performance Program which has three tiers. Players may then be invited to participate at State HP Camps and finally selected for the National High Performance Program.

Selection for State Teams (Interstate Series) and Representative Players (National Ranking Events) is not dependent on being in a HP Squad or Talent ID Squad.

High Performance Tier 1 & Tier 2:

• Aimed at developing talented Athletes to their full potential
• Runs from March to December annually
• Includes: coaching, strength & conditioning, physiotherapy, biomechanics, psychology, nutrition, statistics and more.

High Performance Tier 3:

Aimed at identifying talented Athletes and providing a development pathway

Includes the delivery of a core program that includes technical (coaching) and a range of sports medicine/sports science components at a number of suitable facilities.

From the Director...

"The Golf SA High Performance Team is excited to launch the new, improved and restructured Tier 3 High Performance Program for 2018. We hope to reach previous participants as well as engage some new faces. The program will comprise of five sessions held over a two month period. It is aimed at exposing young players to the training techniques, processes, expectations and technologies that the Tier 1 and 2 athletes use on a daily basis. I look forward to overseeing the program and working with players to achieve success and reach their goals."

- Adrian Wickstein (SA High Performance Director)
