Get Into Golf facility marketing fund
by Golf Australia
Increasing participation at all levels is not just important for the health of the game but is the starting point in ensuring that our clubs and facilities are vibrant, healthy and reflective of our broader community.
The growth of the Get Into Golf program will help ensure that as many people as possible are introduced to the game and continue as future members of our clubs and facilities.
The Get Into Golf brand forms part of the participation program offering from Golf Australia, and looks to help centralise the entry point for beginner golfers. By utilising the Get Into Golf platform you will have benefit from a range of ongoing initiatives, one that includes the leverage of a funded national marketing strategy.
We run year-round national marketing campaigns, we give exposure on a website that generates high levels of traffic (40,000 people per day, everyday), we have the ability to cross promote between our adult and junior programs, and we give clubs and facilities access to local marketing grants to increase exposure to participants in their communities.
$250 Marketing Grants
The 2020/21 Get Into Golf facility marketing fund is designed to assist facilities across Australia in the promotion of their Get Into Golf programs with access to a $250 marketing grant. As Golf Australia (GA) rollout the national Get Into Golf marketing strategy, the facility marketing fund was created to sit alongside, supporting at a more localised level.
GA acknowledges that golf clubs and facilities will have existing channels or platforms that have had success in reaching their intended target audience, and GA would like to support these to continue.
How to get access to the grant?
Become a Get Into Golf centre. If you are a current MyGolf centre, you can login to your dashboard and register by clicking on the Get Into Golf tab. If you are new to both programs you will need to register as a new centre first.
Upload a program. We are awarding the first 60 facilities that activate a program online with a $250 grant.
Use the grant to help with some extra program marketing and local promotion.
