You pay all year to play golf what with green fees, membership fees, equipment costs, etc. and now you have to pay again to watch one of the major championships. I won't be bullied by Foxtel. Who knows, may find soccer more appealing after watching some of the world cup on free to air.

The affluent who have Fox get it but the mere plebs don't seem to rank. Australian Free to Air channels have sunk all their money into ridiculous "reality" programs or bloody football.

Couldn't agree more. Sports promoters are getting too greedy at the expense of golf and sports fans in general.

Must admit it pisses me off that we are unable to watch this tournament on free to air, or even get highlights after it is over. Oh well, I suppose that's the way of the world...

This was supposed to be a great American team, but, aside from Justin Thomas, they barely turned up to the Ryder Cup. Read more
