Indigenous and CALD

Indigenous golfers

All people should have equal opportunity to participate in golf. Golf Australia promotes inclusion with under-represented populations. These populations include culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and Indigenous.

Your Golf Pro - Remote Golf

Your Golf Pro, a group of dedicated PGA Professionals growing the game of golf around Australia, developed the Remote Golf Program in 2010.

The first Remote Golf program took place in Alice Springs, NT delivered to 507 indigenous kids ran by 50 PGA Professionals in partnership with MyGolf, Australia’s National Junior Participation Program.

Today, the program has expanded nationally, with MyGolf clinics delivered around Australia for indigenous youth to experience the game of golf, linking participants to MyGolf clubs and facilities.
