Adelong is a small town of around 900 people at approximately 340m above sea level about 20km west of Tumut. The course is accessed 5km east of town on way to Tumut via Snowy Mountains Highway on the unpaved Adelong Racecourse Road off the sealed Reka Road. There are 9 tiny black soil greens with gentle hills and sparse trees scattered around the course. Basic golf facilities here with no bunkers and mostly straight holes. Fees are $5
