Golf SA provides golf coaching through a number of staff and service provider arrangements:

Community Golf Instructors

The Community Golf Instructor Program is an Australian Sports Commission National Coaching Accreditation Scheme approved program that provides training and accreditation for individuals wanting to engage as an instructor or facilitator of national golf participation programs.  The program is the result of ongoing collaboration between the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of Australia and Golf Australia and replaces the Community Coach Program.

Development Coach
Employed by Golf SA to coordinate game development in South Australia at clubs and schools.

National Coach (SA):
Employed by Golf Australia to coach and coordinate the Golf SA HP Program.

State Coach
Employed by Golf SA on a contract basis to prepare various State Teams specifically for the national Interstate Series.

PGA Coaches
Employed by Golf SA on contract to deliver golf coaching as and when needed.

Golf Lessons
It is highly recommended that if you are a beginner to golf, to invest in having some lessons with a golf professional. It is also a good idea to regularly maintain contact with a professional to keep your game on track
