Barnbougle Dunes

Designed by American Golf Architect Tom Doak and Australian Mike Clayton, Barnbougle Dunes is set upon 200 acres of untouched wilderness and pristine coastline on the north east coast of Tasmania. Just outside the coastal village of Bridport and only 1 hour north of Launceston, it boasts breath taking landscape and views which mirror the wild coastal links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The course, where the wind is an ever present factor, combines a series of subtle, short in length par 4 holes with some testing par 3’s and only three par 5's. Strong enough to test gifted golfers, yet fair enough to be enjoyed by the average player, the 18 holes championship layout rivals the great courses of Britain and Ireland. Barnbougle Dunes Golf Links is a public golf course offering a wide range of playing times 7 days per week. Featuring driving range facilities, putting and chipping greens with bunkers, onsite accommodation and villas, a first class clubhouse include restaurant and bars, this spectacular course will be loved by even the most travelled golfer.
