You swing like a girl – it’s now among the highest praise your golf technique can receive.

Despite power and clubhead speed differences too great to combat, the LPGA Tour’s leading players have developed their own methods to smash drives ever closer to their male counterparts.

This fantastic Golf Digest feature highlights the fitness and technical summits the world’s top female players have reached in recent years as they close the gap on the PGA – and, in most cases, well in excess of the average male club golfer.

With many of the world’s leading players preparing to head to Adelaide for next month’s ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open, check out http://www.golfdigest.com/story/get-golf-strong-lpga-tour-pros to learn some of the tricks of their trade.

And who knows, if you work hard enough at it, maybe you, too, could swing like a girl.

The ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open is underway. Head to www.golf.org.au/womensausopen for live scores news, video and more.
