Golf Australia

In 2004-2005, with the objective of recording the changed locations of Victorian golf clubs, a questionnaire was circulated to Victorian golf clubs with the assistance of the Victorian Golf Association (VGA).

Information has now been obtained from all the metropolitan clubs and approximately 25% of country clubs. It is the remaining clubs we are still keen to hear from, as well as anyone with information about the location of clubs which no longer exist.

At the time the survey was sent, copies of Club history publications were also requested, for deposit in the Golf Australia Library. The goal is to obtain a copy of all histories published by Australian golf clubs.

Data on golf course locations has been compiled for:
•Melbourne metropolitan clubs
•Melbourne clubs no longer in existence
•Victorian country clubs - in District sections
•Victorian Country clubs no longer in existence
•South Australian clubs
