Volvik Inc. Korea have announced they will partner with the Australian Open for the next three years beginning with the 2018 championship.

This year’s Australian Open will be played at The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney from November 15 to 20 and boast prize money of A$1.25 million.

“The Australian Open exudes quality and that is something that provides Volvik with perfect linkage,” said Chairman Moon of Volvik.

“In conjunction with our  Australian distributor , Champion Sports , we are  proud to sponsor the Australian Open as Official ball of the event as it attracts world class players, enjoys massive crowds and wonderful weather fitting for an event of this magnitude! ” added Moon.

Volvik Golf balls and accessories are distributed in Australia by Champion Sports Pty Ltd.

“The Australian Open looks forward to the partnership with Volvik and we are pleased to share our passion for world-class golf,” said Mark Hardess, Tournament Director, Australian Open.

Cameron Davis from Australia lived the dream by winning the 2017 Australian Open.

No one could catch him, and one by one they fell. His countryman Jason Day missed his chance when his improbable three wood shot at the 18th plopped in the front trap when it needed to go in for an albatross to tie the New South Welshman.

World No. 2 Jordan Spieth closed with an eagle at his 72nd hole to finish eighth in his title defence.
