Spectator Advice
MOBILE PHONES POLICY: Patrons are required to turn their phones to OFF or put on SILENT whilst on course. DIGITAL CAMERAS / VIDEO CAMERAS: Digital Cameras/Video Cameras are strictly prohibited at the event. Media who have been accredited will be able to take photographs only. PROHIBITED ITEMS ON COURSE (FROM TUESDAY – SUNDAY): - Audio or video equipment - Cameras - Televisions, radios or any noise producing devices - Large eskies or milk crates or step ladders - Signs, posters or banners - Firearms, weapons or explosives etc - Alcoholic beverages or glass bottles - Bicycles - Pets CATERING ON COURSE: There will be catering available in the Championship Village, as well as various outlets out on course and near and around the clubhouse. EVENT MERCHANDISE: Official tournament merchandise will be sold in the on-site Merchandise Superstore. ELECTRONIC SUPER SCREENS: Electronic Super Screens will be located at major vantage points to keep all spectators up to date on play. DISABLED ACCESS: Disability access is available at the venue. The area around the clubhouse is flat with no kerbing providing wheelchair access to excellent viewing points. Tickets are sold at general admission prices. The person with a disability who requires a carer, the carer will be admitted free of charge upon presentation of their Companion card. There will be limited disabled car parking spaces in the Clubhouse car park on a first come first served basis. DAILY DRAW SHEETS: The daily draw sheet will be made available around the vicinity of the Club House. EVENT PROGRAM: The Official ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open program will be available for sale from roaming program sellers. Cost: $5.00 INCLEMENT WEATHER: A Golf Tournament can still continue in raining conditions. If the weather is potentially dangerous to players and patrons then a SIREN will sound and play will be suspended. If the siren sounds patrons are advised to seek shelter immediately and AVOID THE FOLLOWING – Open areas, hill top and high places, isolated trees, golf carts, grandstands, telephone poles, metal or wire fences, metal stakes and TV towers. LOST AND FOUND: Lost property can be handed in and collected from the Golf Australia Tournament Office adjacent to the Club House.
