Another warm morning and fantastic conditions welcomed the full field of 100 players eagerly anticipating a round on the consistently top 50 ranked course in the world.

Closely followed saw a countback between 4 players on 46 points, where Daniel Baxter (Garfield) & Noel Baxter (Peninsula-Kingswood) managed to lead the pack and grab the runners up position. Coming in third place was Gordon Bell & Stuart Bell (Woodlands).

Winners of the women’s event came from Noela Read & Gay Paterson (Commonwealth), scoring top honour with a superb 45 points over a countback from Linda Nayna & Dianne Simmons (Yarra Yarra) who finished runners up. Closing out the category of prizewinners was Riko Nakayama & Tricia Vine (Peninsula-Kingswood) with a solid 42 points.

The mixed category saw another countback between three players tied on 41 points, where ultimately Cathy Chen (The Heritage) & Michael Gao (Riversdale) came out victorious.
