Webb narrowly misses Evian Masters

Karrie Webb

South Korea's Park Inbee has won the Evian Masters in France by two shots from Stacey Lewis and Australia's Karrie Webb, who won the event back in 2006.

Webb birdied the final two holes for a 67, -15 total for the week.

"This is so exciting," said Park, who dropped shots at the third and 11th but birdied four holes on each nine.

Webb the former world No.1 with 38 LPGA titles, hasn't won on the tour since the LPGA Founders Cup in March last year.

The only two other Australians to make to weekend cut were Lindsey Wright, who finished -8 in a tie for 16th, and Katherine Hull who finished -3, tied for 36th.
