Victorian juniors win San Diego titles

Victorian juniors Julienne Soo and Karl Vilips collected the silverware in San Diego, winning the respective titles at the city's Junior Masters tournament at Carlton Oaks Country Club.

Soo shot rounds of 69-77 to claim victory while Vilips started with an excellent 66 and closed with a 71.

The San Diego Masters is part of a three week junior golf swing on the West Coast including the Callaway Junior World Championship, and finally the FCG World Championship at PGA West.

Soo and Vilips earn exemptions into the Callaway Junior World Championships with their victory.
