Australians Brett Drewitt, Daniel Nisbet, Ben Clementson and Matt Stieger are among those players to tee off in this week's Sahalee Players Championship at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington.

The Aussies arrive after playing a tournament schedule in the UK over the last few weeks including the British Amateur Championship in Scotland.

No Australian has ever won the Sahalee title with past champions including PGA Tour winners Kyle Stanley and Ryan Moore.

The Home Course in DuPont is the home of golf in the Northwest and is the future headquarters of the WSGA and PNGA, which opened the course in 2007 to establish a permanent home for their staff and operations.

The course sits roughly 200 feet above Puget Sound with spectacular views of the water, Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountain range. The Home Course has already hosted several notable events.

It was the assisting course to Chambers Bay in hosting the 2010 U.S. Amateur Championship, which saw the top amateurs in the world travel to the Northwest.

The course has been selected as the site of the 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship, and has also hosted several PNGA and WSGA championships, seven USGA national championship qualifiers, and also a wide range of high school and collegiate tournaments.
