At the commencement, the Men’s Championship was a stand-alone Championship, however for the first three years, the Women’s Championship was played in conjunction with the Australian Women’s Senior Amateur Championship. In 2010, the Men’s and Women’s Mid Amateur Championships were combined.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am travelling to Melbourne from Ireland in November and was hoping to enter the Mens Mid-Amateur event at Moonah Links. Can you tell me if the event is open to international golfers and if so, how can I enter for the event. Thanking you kindly in advance, John O'Sullivan.
