The Australian Women's Interstate Teams Matches for the Gladys Hay Memorial Cup is Australia's premier Women's Amateur Team Golf Championship. Each State is represented by six players who contest singles match play in a round robin format, concluding with a Final.

The first interstate match was played in 1897, then 1906 to 1939 and from 1947. In 1933 the series became the Gladys Hay Memorial Cup in honour of Miss Hay to perpetuate her great contribution to the game both as an administrator (Foundation Member of the ALGU and Council Member 1921-23) and player (Australian Champion 1922).

From 2008, the Women’s and Men’s Interstate Teams Matches were played concurrently in the same city.

The Australian Women's Interstate Teams Matches head to Tasmania for the first time since 2006. With Western Australia having won the event for the last two years, the competition is sure to be fierce. Tasmania will be looking to win the title for the first time in its history and will hope the home ground advantage will pay dividends.
